A Magic Evening at theTessin Palace
The Stockholm county governor greets the ICSB delegates to a reception at his residence, the Tessin Palace , next door to the Royal Palace.The TessinPalace is a magnificent palace in miniature, which with its false perspective playfully deceiving the visitor's eyes to see larger spaces than the actual. The Parade apartment on the second floor is completely preserved from the 1600s, with rich decorative paintings of French artists. The scenic built baroque garden is today, after periods of decay and transformation, completely restored according to the original drawings.During the evening Circus Cirkör, one ofEurope 's leading contemporary circus companies, will provide for the entertainment.
Millennium Evening Tour - the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Over 47 millions have read author Stieg Larsson´s three Millennium books (or the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series) about journalist Mikael Blomkvist and computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, which have become bestsellers around the world.
Follow along in Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander´s footsteps while getting additional background information about the characters and the author. On the way you will also learn more about historical and contemporary Stockholm and its inhabitants. When possible, the tour ends at the small Millennium exhibition at the StockholmCityMuseum
