Hans Rosling keynote speaker

We are happy to announce that we will have one of the world's leading global thinkers, Swedish professor Hans Rosling as a keynote speaker at the ICSB world conference in Stockholm 2011.

Hans Rosling is professor of International Health at Karolinska Institute and co-ounder and Director of the Gapminder Foundation. Rosling's research has focused on links between economic development, agriculture, poverty and health in Africa, Asia and Latin America. He has been adviser to, among others, WTO and UNICEF and developed research cooperation with universities in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Rosling co-founded the Gapminder Foundation together with his son and daugther-in-law. Gapminder developed the Trendalyzer software that coverts international statistics into moving, interactive graphics. Trendalyzer was aquired by Google in 2007.
Rosling was listed as one of the 100 leading global thinkers in 2009 by Foreign Policy Magazine and is internationally recognized as an inspiring public speaker.
